If I hear one more player say during an interview, “we just do what we do”, I’m jumping out a 10-story window. Don’t hate - I just gotta do what I do.

A lot of people were confused about CBS’s reasoning behind the much-publicized interview with soccer star David Beckham, which was slated during the Super Bowl broadcast:

From the [Sunday] Mirror article: “A source close to the Beckhams said: ‘This is the big one. Nobody leaves their house when the superbowl is on.’”

No, but they do get up to get more beer, make guacamole, and use the loo…

Media makeover ideas for Swedish politician

From May 2006 here’s one person’s perceptions of how the two front-runners in Sweden’s elections came across in the media. This blogger is a writer and communications strategist, which explains some of the detailed analysis, but I think it’s a good articulation of what the average person might be feeling subconsciously and which may also be influencing their voting (buying, approval, or whatever one is hoping to garner from a media appearance).
